Now's your chance to take the fight to them. The Root haven't been entirely pulled out of Earth. The Root still exists on Earth, which will have profound implications in the follow-up game. Seeing how Remnant II is slated for release in 2023, the Gunfire Games has been dropping information on the game, with today’s realization being the biggest. Well, according to the developer of both games, Gunfire Games, that isn’t the case. Mainly because in the final DLC for the game, Subject 2923, we thought the Root was eradicated from the planet. Which puzzled those who’ve completed all of the DLC for Remnant from the Ashes, myself included. During the reveal of Remnant II, a short trailer dropped a spoiler that the Root, the villain of Remnant from the Ashes, would be a big part of the game and that we’d be revisiting Earth.
